Our stay at Poripori Homestead was excellent, comfortable, and extremely clean. The hotel exuded old-fashioned charm and was well-equipped for a family stay. The owner provided a great welcome, and Molly the cat added to the warm atmosphere. The hotel's location was very handy, and we wished we had stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities. The private garden and sandpit were perfect for our daughter, and we also enjoyed the company of Snoop the dog, the chickens, and the escaping sheep. The space around us allowed for exercise and relaxation. a great experience that we would love to repeat.

I had an exceptional stay at Poripori! The spacious and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment provided everything I needed, although it was a bit outdated. The well-equipped kitchen and basic pantry items were a plus, and there were even games, toys, and books for entertainment. The property had lovely grounds and a pool, perfect for families. Frances and Julian were welcoming and extremely helpful hosts. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I visit the Tauranga area.
One minor drawback was the dangerous turn into Poripori Road from SH29 due to traffic volumes and limited vision. However, I found an alternative route through Bethlehem, which was safer.

our second time in tauranga and poripori homestead never disappoints. the warm welcome from julian, stunning apartments and wonderful homemade shower melts made our celebrations extra special. we loved the pool and the kids had a blast. highly recommend this incredible place for families. a truly unforgettable experience.

The garden views at this property were absolutely stunning, like stepping into a picturesque postcard. The sight of colorful blooms and lush greenery was simply breathtaking.
